I am reporting an active “Ghost Project ID” bug with the Gemini Code Assist extension for VS Code. My personal Google AI Pro account is currently being forced into an Enterprise flow, and the extension is auto-injecting an inaccessible project ID: consummate-now-n…
Issue Details:

  • Behavior: Upon OAuth login, the extension automatically fills geminicodeassist.project with consummate-now-n… Because I do not own or have access to this project, the extension fails with a 403 Permission Denied error and remains unusable.

  • Subscription: I am a Google AI Pro (Individual) subscriber.

  • Troubleshooting: I have attempted to manually clear my VS Code settings and re-authenticate, but the server re-injects this specific ID every time.

Requested Action:
Could an engineer please perform a server-side reset of the cloudaicompanionProject binding for my account and ensure my routing is set to the Individual/Pro tier rather than Enterprise?
