I am a personal Google AI Pro subscriber. Every time I sign into the Gemini Code Assist extension in VS Code, it automatically sets an inaccessible Google Cloud project ID: utopian-yew-48w.
This happens immediately after authentication. The error displayed is: “The set project ID (utopian-yew-48wb7) was invalid, or the current account lacks permission to view it.”
I have verified this project does not exist in my Google Cloud Console. I have tried clearing local caches and reinstalling, but the phantom project is pushed from the server upon login.
Request: Please reset the server-side cloudaicompanionProject binding for my account so it correctly routes to the Individual AI Pro tier .
