Payment issue from Cameroon: Prepaid cards & PayPal rejected for AI Studio Pay-as-you-go

Hello everyone,

I am developing a SaaS project using Google AI Studio from Cameroon. I currently have an active Gemini Pro subscription, but I quickly hit the daily rate limits (RPD / TPM) on AI Studio when working on my frontend and syncing with GitHub.

I am trying to upgrade to the Pay-as-you-go tier to increase my quotas, but I am facing serious billing restrictions:

  1. Virtual / Prepaid cards (e.g., Visa/Mastercard prepaid) are systematically rejected with the error [OR_CCR_104].
  2. PayPal is not available as a payment method for my region / billing profile.
  3. Traditional international credit cards are difficult to obtain locally.

How can developers based in Cameroon or Central Africa set up billing for Google AI Studio / Gemini API? Are there alternative supported payment methods, local partners, or ways to link the consumer Pro subscription quotas to AI Studio?
