Opus 4.6 consumes quota extremely fast compared to Opus 4.5

After upgrading to Opus 4.6, I noticed that the quota is consumed at an abnormal rate.I only used it a few times, but the quota was exhausted very quickly, which makes it almost unusable in practice. When Opus 4.5 was still available, I did not encounter this issue at all.

Under similar usage patterns, Opus 4.5 consumed far less quota and could be used continuously for several hours without hitting the limit. If Google considers that providing Opus 4.6 requires significantly higher cost, then it would be much more reasonable to keep Opus 4.5 available for users as an alternative, instead of removing it and at the same time drastically reducing the effective usable quota.

Right now, users are forced onto Opus 4.6, but with quotas that are depleted after only minimal interaction, which severely affects usability and developer experience.

To be honest, that’s what we expected from the beginning.
