I have reestablished publication of AI studio projects by using the Google Command Line Interface (CLI). Important - use Claude as your guide through the process. Tell Claude your problem and that you want to use the CLI method. Follow the instructions.
You are going to download the files from your app to your computer and use the CLI to upload them up to the Google cloud (thus bypassing the unreliable publish function in AIS).
Caveat: going down this path means that whilst you can use AIS to vibe code, you will need to keep 2 sets of files in sync. Record which files are changed after a vibe session, download those files to your folder and then use the CLI to upload the whole app.
why are only some accounts disabled though? all of my friends are able to publish their projects just fine but when i try it doesnt let me, for like 2 weeks its said temporarily disabled on my end
When will you fix the ability to re-publish the project? I was able to publish it one time. All the changes I have made I have not been able to re-publish to push the new changes. I have reported this bug every day now. It’s on ALL of my projects. I’ve tried different browsers etc out of curiosity and same thing. I have not been able to update any changes for awhile now.
