I don't think this "Publishing" issue is going to be fixed anytime soon

Google has neglected the bug preventing new projects from being published in AI Studio for far too long. Although they announced it was resolved, the problem clearly persists for many of us. I believe we have no choice but to find a workaround at this point. If anyone has successfully deployed their project or found a bypass, please share your method with the community.

Might have to download the project and somehow upload it to another deployment accessible website, like Vercel, or something similar.

I was able to get a previous project to allow me to make changes and publish. I hope this means they’re working on it.

Goole makes me think their own tools like Antigravity or GeminiCLI is no good, they just cannot fix or ship new product at all. I have abandoned Google tools lately, just use Claude Code or Codex instead.

I was also facing this issue and found a solution.

Click on the “Investigate Issue” button and take a full-page screenshot. Then share it with Google AI Studio and ask it to identify the issue and help resolve it. I did the same, and now my project is published and working fine.

Please try this method I hope it works for everyone.

In my case, the issue was that the port was set to 8080. I changed it to 3000, updated the Vite file, and adjusted the Express.js (version 5) configuration. After resolving these issues with the help of Google AI Studio, my tool was able to publish and go live again with new features.

Hope this helps everyone.
