I asked the usual question gemini advanced, But he started writing me all sorts of random stuff
That’s odd as Pyccknn is a very common language. I couldn’t seem to replicate the same results as you, but this was with the regular version of Gemini, not Gemini Advanced.
In fact, this was a “one-time” error, but still there is an error, and it’s also kind of strange, I literally started repeating different words in about 5-8 languages
Yes.
I agree, another issue I have with LLM’s and using other languages is some words are spelled similar to “bad” words in English and it gets flagged by there moderation.
I only know Russian, Spanish, and English so that many languages are impressive.
Apparently “dalam” is Indonesian for “in”. Strange that the model finds the word so fascinating ![]()
Did your friend say which prompt generated the unusual response?
No, I didn’t say that, but the very presence of such bugs is confusing
I agree. A couple of weeks ago, we would routinely shrug off the odd behaviors by saying (a) it’s free - don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and (b) it’s still in beta, what do you expect.
With GA, and a proper paid plan, both (a) and (b) are no longer true. One should have some expectation that really outlandish behavior no longer happens. Apparently that is wishful thinking.
