My Problem: Lost Project in Google AI Studio

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping to get some help from the community regarding an issue I’m facing with my Gemini project in Google AI Studio.

I recently started and developed a project using the “Build your ideas with Gemini” input field within the Google AI Studio.

For deployment, I took the following steps:

  1. Opened a Google Cloud account.

  2. Opened a Firebase account.

My application is now live; I can access it via the URL, and it is functioning as expected.

The main issue is that the original project I created in Google AI Studio has disappeared from the user interface. I can no longer see it, access it, or continue developing or editing it.

  1. How can I recover my lost project in Google AI Studio? Is there a specific storage location or a method to re-access or reactivate it?

  2. Any insights into why this might have happened, especially after a successful deployment, would be greatly appreciated.

Any guidance or tips would be incredibly helpful in getting my project back on track!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Hi @Dobby , Welcome to the forum!!!
Google AI Studio stores your projects under the Google account used to create them. Please check your Google Drive for a folder named ‘Google AI Studio’ to locate your work, as the files should still be there even if they don’t appear in the UI.Please let us know if the issue still persists. Thanks.

Thank you for the reply.
I already checked this based on another forum post, but unfortunately there is no such folder in my Google Drive. The project has disappeared without a trace.

I also followed the suggestion to check my other Google accounts in case the project was saved under a different one, but that was unsuccessful as well.

Are there any other ways to recover or regain access to this project?

Thank you!
