I was wondering if any work is currently being done on lowering mhlo.dot_general to linalg with the hlo-legalize-to-linalg pass for tf-opt. As of now, this only lowers when the batching and contracting dims satisfy a particular criteria. Is anyone working on expanding this? Are there any intentions to expand? If not, does anyone have a suggestion for lowering tf.BatchMatmulV2 with a wider range of parameter choices to linalg? Thanks in advance.
