I would like to suggest a feature for the Gemini platform that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience. As an avid user of Google Colaboratory, I have come to appreciate the convenience and peace of mind offered by its autosave functionality. It ensures that all my code changes are saved periodically, mitigating the risk of losing work due to accidental session closures or technical issues. However, I have noticed that Gemini currently lacks this autosave feature. While a manual save option is available, I believe that implementing an autosave mechanism would be a valuable addition.Autosaving not only prevents work loss but also provides a more fluid and uninterrupted coding workflow. Users can focus on their tasks without the need to interrupt their flow to manually save their progress regularly.I believe that adding an autosave feature to Gemini would greatly enhance its usability and overall user satisfaction. It would provide users with a more reliable and efficient coding environment, allowing them to focus on their work with peace of mind. Thank you for considering my suggestion. I am confident that this enhancement would be a welcome addition for Gemini users.
This while very useful won’t make a difference in all gemini consumers now coming to utilize a developer-focused version
. Am happy for this but just looks hilarious how this will make no difference in it being an open platform for anyone. At least it’s currently differentiating itself from the gemini.google com version
AI Studio now auto saves : )
WORST IDEA EVER !!!
AI writes BUGS , CODE needs testing and REVIEW before saving !!!
All code needs testing and review , before SAVING !!!
AUTOSAVE IS LIKE self-desctuctive behaviour in code production !!!
BETTER IDEA, IS to make the ai studio to perfrom automated testing of app and then offer to save it as milesotone marker.
autosave is evil !!!
As you may know, the gemini model has a lot of hallucinations, which are saved directly in the projects as bugs, and once the project is saved, the user has to redo all the errors hallucinated by the model.
There are more and more users who are asking for this option to be an option, not a mandatory.
I really hope they reconsider the decision.
It is a very bad decision and it directly impacts the quality.
