IT'S WORKING - Antigravity AI Chat Models

guys. I got my antigravity to work now. The chat works!! If you go to antigravity-settings in bottom right of the main window. THEN Use the chat in there on the right side, it works as normal no issues. Try it out.

I also am upgraded to the newest version, but that didn’t help until I tried the above technique ^^

I figure this is a worthy bump and surprised people are still posting about it not working, and if you guys want it to work, just follow my instructions. On the bottom right of the main antigravity chat window, press Antigravity - Settings. Go to the Editor tab, Press open Editor settings. USE THE CHAT IN THERE and it will work. All claude models all GEMINI models works, just as before.

unfortunately not working to me

HUHH really? Sorry to hear that, I really thought I nailed it for everyone. Like in my main window it has the same issue everyone else has, STILL. So I do this technique and everything works…

Did you download the newest update? What version are you on?

I’m on 1.23.2

Some proof it works for me. I really want everyone to get back working again, so if you have anymore questions I can try to help how I got mine working.

And if you check in the background on the right, thats the main project window where everyone is having issues. So again, try my method and it should work…

well almost got my hopes up, but thanks for trying

Huhh It looked like it was about to work?? I’m currently using claude sonnet 4.6 for context, but I also got it working for hours on the gemini pro 3.1 so… It looks like you made some progress though, maybe tinker around with it more. I hope you can get back working.

not working at all, using the editor and latest version,

so sad

Dang I’m really sorry. I thought my solution was the key. It’s weird that it works for me there. There was one other thing I did, but I don’t think it would help. I went into the config and changed this to repositoryformatversion = 1

That’s the only other thing I can think of that I’ve changed. (It was previously set to 0)

That file is in your .git folder (hidden folder) in my project directory. If you’re using github at least.

you using Windows or macos?

why you change this?

Windows. & Idk, someone mentioned the fix yesterday and it didn’t work, but I left it on anyways. I was told all it does is allow extensions or something to work in antigravity.

From my observation, it’s related to the length of the context. If the current session context is short, it usually works normally. However, if the same session is repeated several times in a row, the probability of “retry” increases. In other words, the probability of “retry” is positively correlated with the number of consecutive sessions in your local session.

nah, not connected at all. Just doesnt work ever.

Didn’t make a bit of a difference.

What nonsense. Of course it doesn’t work.

Bro.

It works for me, I posted the proof. It’s weird you guys can’t get it to work.

There might just be another step I’ve done that you guys haven’t done. The only other thing I can think of that I did was edit a setting in my git config. So I doubt thats the case. There must be something that I have that you guys don’t, so instead of complaining - if you want to fix it, we can just simply work together on what the differences could be, otherwise I guess you have to wait or use a different program.

See I just tested it again a few minutes ago. Another thing for me is that I had to uninstall completely and download the latest version because for some reason it wouldn’t auto update to it. I know you guys are frustrated, I was too, but I’m trying my best to provide some kind of solution for now. Good luck.
