I am using Gemini 2.5 Pro to transcribe videos, but I’m facing a severe issue where the timecode jumps irregularly.
I’ve tried re-uploading the video and restarting the session, but the issue persists.
Is this a known bug? Any workaround would be greatly appreciated.

one alternative I could think of is to split the video into multiple smaller chunks with some overlap and transcribe individually with an offset in the timestamps.
make sure the “Temp” configuration is low enough to avoid hallucinations
