Yes, that’s completely fine! Sharing a device and taking turns logging into your own official student accounts is permissible, provided each partner signs in with their own credentials (no password sharing). Just make sure you aren’t switching back and forth simply to bypass quota limits, as that can trigger abuse flags.

To switch accounts:

  1. Type /logout in the CLI and exit (/exit).
  2. Run agy again to trigger sign-in.
  3. In your browser, make sure to select the second account (watch out for your browser auto-selecting the previous one).

Quick tip: If you share the machine often, the easiest fix is creating two separate user profiles on your PC/Mac. It keeps your keyrings, browser logins, and local CLI caches isolated so you won’t have to keep logging in and out.
