Internal error in Gemini 1.5 pro 002

Hello, I’ve been using Gemini 1.5 pro 002 quite extensively for some time now, mostly to use its amazing memory recall capabilities, however, after the release of the experimental models, 1206 and 2.0 flash, it’s been hitting me with a big wall that is ‘An internal error has occurred.’

It seems to be more prominent in either long used saved chats or large context usage work. After a certain point of chatting with the model, it won’t answer any more other than giving ‘An internal error has occurred’ text. I’ve tried constantly throughout the weeks to just keep regenerating the prompt in hopes it will eventually give me output of anything other than an error, it didn’t work. The only way for Gemini 1.5 pro 002 to work is to literally start another chat, but even then I can’t use it for large context work, which is literally the only reason I’m using it in the first place since the moment I give it my DOCX files which is usually around 100k to 300k+ context, it works for only ONE prompt, and then it just gives me the usual internal error, or it will just give me ‘internal error’ regardless of whether it is the first prompt or not.

Please fix this Google, just give me an answer that you acknowledge this problem, ANYTHING, please don’t keep us in the dark like this.

Can you share the link to the chat where your prompts fail? This way, maybe we can replicate the issue and see what’s causing it.

My assumption is that there is something in the source files you’re feeding it that is leading the model to think one of the safety settings is being violated. Have you tried to lower the safety settings? This can be done directly in the chat window, on the right-hand side.

Thanks!

Ah sure! Could i share it in your DMs? Or is there a dm feature in this website… Yes I have lowered all the safety settings to none. I thought it could be a safety bug too so i tried to do a large context task that is ‘purely’ SFW but it still gave me that error.
