Error model gemini 1.5 (An internal error has occurred.)

I have been using Google AI Studio for a while, and it has been very helpful. However, since the release of Model 2.0, I’ve been encountering the issue “An internal error has occurred” with Model 1.5 constantly. It happens almost every time I use it in the folder I’m working on. Even though I’ve created a new one, the error still occurs after translating around 300 words.

As for Model 2.0, which I’m currently experiencing, I feel it’s not fully optimized yet. It frequently misunderstands what I’m trying to convey. For example, when I input a paragraph with numbered sentences like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Model 2.0 changes the numbering to 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and sometimes even to 101, 102, 103, etc.

Agreed. I’m also getting the same Internal Error. I’ve had this experience before when they were shipping 002. It will be fixed in an week I suppose or when a new model drops just like 002.

I agree, this is super annoying… this always happens when Im giving large subtitle files (well not that large, under 100k tokens)

Ain’t no way, can’t even use gemini 1.5 pro anymore for large context work which is like it’s main purpose if all else, like literally the only thing it’s good at. Logan also only responds to checkmarks peeps more often than not on twitter so no shot it’s reaching him. Internal error again and again…

Fully agreed. 16 days since an actual breaking issue and not even so much as a “Yep, got it” from the team

I need 1.5 Flash for my project and currently AI Studio has made it impossible to experiment with it. I’m going to make a whole thread about AI Studio and the problems in it - was going to email logank because i feel the direction of AI Studio has drastically changed from a prototyping tool for Gemini to just a general user interface for Gemini, and the focus has shifted away from developers drastically. Might still do it.

Yes same issue here… usually it will fail and say the model is overloaded. But over the last 24 the request has just been hanging and never completing.
