If anyone finds a solution to their problem, could they please post it here? Thanks in advance ^^
Same problem here. Interestingly, though, when I route Nano Banana 2 through a third-party provider like fal.ai it works fine, including at 2K and 4K, no blurry/foggy output
Gemini 3.1 Flash Image and Image Preview all variants are returning blurred out images and only small part of the image is recognizable.. using API key for an imaging app and every generation is returned like a blurred water color picture. Went to AI Studio and when you see model thoughts it sometimes generates the correct image fine but the actual output to the user is the blurred image. - Update - My Terminal Log intermittently shows “IMAGE_RECITATION” when calling the API for the Uploaded Image and still returns the blurry image… this is an original photo that I took and this should not be happening. Something is definently broken.
im having the same problem today with nano banana 2 and nano banana pro
same
api user with 30 users.
can’t use.
I having the same issue
Same issues happening with Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2, from Higgsfield AI.
Anyone please find solution tell me my platform is down
I noticed that I have some issues with 1K generations as well. The model does produce an image, and unlike the 2K/4K outputs, it is not just a huge blurry blob. However, the result is still noticeably distorted and appears to be low quality.
What’s more, the model is now making things up that weren’t happening yesterday. I provide two reference images - a background and an object , and ask the model to place the object onto the background. Until today, the results were nearly perfect in terms of matching the provided references. Today, however, the model invents additional details, changes the background, alters the object, and generally deviates from the references during the generation process.
Yes, in addition to problems downloading generated graphics at resolutions higher than 1K, I’ve noticed that the generation itself results in lower quality – for example, Flow loses detail from reference material at a much higher level than before when generating photos. Or – something I hadn’t noticed before – it distorts the proportions of generated characters.
Yes. 100% of the images are coming out blurred after the download.
I’m not so sure about your use of “intermittent”… Literally everything seems to be broken today. Upscaling gives these blurred results. Image generation seems to have JPEG compression cranked right up. And I’ll try to download one image and get a completely different image. It’s like Tron: “The system’s got more bugs than a bait store”.
