What are the limits for a given model?
How do they work?
I’m asking this because the Gemini 3.1 Pro/Low and Opus/Sonnet/GPT aren’t returning to the 5-hour refresh, even though the first limit wasn’t fully used up – 20% remained. After 5 hours, we are informed of a 7-day refresh, and the limit itself resets to 60% rather than 100%. This is different from how it was in February this year. Additionally, as I’ve already encountered these issues, I’ve started using Gemini 3 Flash. To my surprise, the limit there is inexhaustible, even though I fed the entire programme code into it for analysis. Bear in mind that I used Gemini Pro or Opus to create functions, whereas with Flash I decided to analyse the entire code and did not exhaust the entire limit, and today I have 100%. In February, I ran such a comprehensive analysis across various aspects – be it code cleanliness or data security – using Gemini 3.1 Pro, and I always had 5 hours to refresh, not 7 days, and the credits weren’t being used up at such a rate. Unless, programming an ESP32 to make some LEDs flash is far more labour-intensive than creating a web-based weather service that integrates multiple sources and offers sophisticated forms of data presentation, because that’s the sort of service I was building in February. It’s incredible how cheated I feel by this system.

I almost forgot to ask: what happens to the limit if you buy extra credits here?

Don’t buy it! I bought 2,500 credits and nothing has been added to Antigravity, even though it’s been several hours.

And so, after a few hours of coding, I’ve used up the remaining limits, even though I’d purchased 2,500 credits – 2.5 times more than what’s included in the AI PRO plan. At the moment, Antigravity’s gone a bit wacky, as it claims I’ve reached the end of my limit, but visually it shows 20%.

Same dilemma here. I have a Pro subscription but I can’t effectively use the Gemini Pro model because it depletes way too fast. It even suddenly tells it will refresh after a week while I still have 60% remaining, which makes no sense at all… I’m forced to use Flash, but it doesn’t provide good results. I feel like Google is silently reducing the available quota for the Pro model every month. I don’t like this direction; it feels like a scam.
