I really want to love Gemini 3, but I can’t use it on Ultra!
I signed up for ultra on the 18th when 3 launched, I was charged $46.04 on the 1st of December, which I’m assuming is the prorated AI Ultra payment from the 18th to the 1st? I have no idea.
Basically, I’ve tried using Gemini 3 in Gemini CLI as well as Hypergravity as well as VEO 3.1 in the browser and my limits are SO low, like 3-4 VEO requests and then maybe max 10-15 inside CLI/Hypergravity before I’m blocked on Gemini 3.
Would it be possible to fix this issue and if not, just get a refund and cancel please?
I get more usage on a 20/month account with OpenAI/Claude probably by a factor of 20x
I can usually use gemini CLI for 30 minutes, maybe 1 hour, then I get blocked. Same with Antigravity. usually about 10 prompts in a decent sized codebase.
Same here. I noticed that Antigravity is considering my tier as Free and very limited. I can’t use Gemini 3 on Antigravity, Jules or Google CLI. I signed up to Ultra on Google Workspace and that is probably the cause. They should suspend the subscription for Workspace at this point. And there’s simply no support at all, I tried via chat and talked to 4 people and nothing, they all posted the same script saying they have no support for Antigravity on workspace.
Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash are currently the only models available under the Gemini Advanced (Ultra) plan in the Gemini web app and API. Gemini 3 models, including the VEO 3.1 video generation and multimodal variants, are still in limited preview and not yet covered by the Ultra plan quota. That’s why you’re seeing very low request limits through the Gemini CLI and Hypergravity tools—usage is being metered under the free-tier or limited-access models rather than your paid subscription.
For billing, the $46.04 charge sounds like a prorated Gemini Advanced subscription renewal, but only Google One billing support can confirm or process a refund. You can request cancellation or a refund directly from your Google account’s Subscriptions & services page or contact Google One support through the Gemini web interface. Once Gemini 3 models are added to the Ultra plan (you’ll see this noted in the Gemini release notes), your usage and rate limits will automatically align with the paid tier.
