At first, I thought Claude’s limit was around 5 days. After all, the price of this API is indeed high, so it’s understandable that the Google team would want to save costs.
But I absolutely never expected to discover that Gemini 3.1 Pro’s limits are actually the same as Claude’s, and the prompts are wrong too:
For example, during normal use, I always saw a notification saying it refreshes every 4 hours; But when I opened Antigravity again today, it directly showed two bars left and prompted me that it would refresh in 5 days;
This is simply unreasonable.![]()
Moreover, my daily coding time is only about 2 or 3 hours. Does this mean that Antigravity, this vibecode tool, only allows 2 hours or even less of coding per day?
Then what is the point of releasing this programming tool?
In contrast, ChatGPT’s Codex or Claude Code can guarantee me at least 4 hours of coding capacity every day.
As a Pro member who has subscribed for over a year and a regular user who really, really likes Gemini, I find this extremely hard to understand and totally unacceptable.
And there is one most important point I want to write at the end:
If you continue to do this, it will severely damage Google’s standing in users’ minds: To put it simply, as an ordinary developer, because Antigravity’s quota is never enough, Antigravity has become equivalent to an AI dedicated to doing dirty and exhausting work for me. I find I have grown accustomed to viewing it as a bottom-tier tool. That is, after I get a project, I will unhesitatingly open it and frantically use its quota until it’s exhausted. During this time, I am not writing code, but using it for various test codes and test development. Only after it burns through its quota do I hand the deliverables over to Codex for an elegant implementation. Google team, do you understand what I mean? You are training all users to treat Antigravity like a trash can.
Antigravity development team, you wouldn’t want the software you worked so hard to develop to be reduced by users to a bottom-tier, disposable piece of trash software that is only fit to do grunt work for ChatGPT and Claude, would you???
