I can't use argon in antigrvity i use jio's google ai pro family

Subject: Google AI Pro Family Member - Gemini 4 Argon Unavailable Bug (Jio Promo History)

Hello Antigravity Team,

I am experiencing the exact same backend sync issue with the Gemini 4 Argon model.

Account Details:

  • Affected Email: cu*****@gmailcom
  • App Status: Perfectly recognized as “Your Plan: Google AI Pro” in the account settings.
  • Subscription Type: Google AI Pro Family Sharing Member
  • Past History: Previously had a promotional subscription (Jio) which is now fully terminated and expired.

Issue Description:
Even though my active plan is correctly displayed as Google AI Pro in the Antigravity settings UI, Gemini 4 Argon remains completely “Unavailable” in the CLI (agy models) and model selector. Only Claude Sonnet 4.6 and older models are visible.

I have already completed a fresh installation, cleared local settings.json file, and fully re-authenticated my active terminal session, but the problem persists. It seems like the backend database is still mapping my account under the old promo tier restriction.

Could you please manually refresh or re-sync my account’s backend entitlement flags (g1-pro-tier)?

Thank you!

Hi @kimjunwoo,

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for sharing the steps you’ve already tried.

Per the Models documentation, Gemini 4 Argon is available with paid Google AI Pro plans, Google AI Ultra plans, or on trial with eligible premium devices, while Claude Sonnet 5.5 (thinking) and Claude Opus 5.5 (thinking) are available on Google AI Pro for non-trial subscriptions only (and Claude Sonnet 4.6 is being retired on November 2, 2026).

Because model access for family members depends on the family plan manager’s subscription, please check whether your family manager’s Google AI Pro plan is currently on a trial or third-party partner offer. Per the Upgrade FAQ, trial and partner plans include the 5-hour Pro quota refresh on Gemini 3.8 Flash (Plans), while unlocking Gemini 4 Argon and Claude 5.5 requires switching to a paid plan via Google One Support (or managing partner plans via the third-party subscription guide).

If your family manager is already on a paid (non-trial) Google AI Pro plan and your expired trial is still affecting your account, please contact Google One Support to refresh your subscription benefits, or reply here with a screenshot of your Google One membership page.

Hi @Rebbanpalli_Naveen,

I checked my Google One membership page as you suggested, and it shows “Provided through Jio” (screenshot attached).

However, I want to clarify that my account is NOT on a free trial or promotional offer. I actually paid 100,000 KRW out of my own pocket for this 12-month Jio subscription.

Since this is a fully paid, non-trial subscription, it feels very unfair that my account is restricted from accessing Gemini 4 Argon and Claude 5.5 just because the billing goes through a third-party partner.

Could you please flag this to the Antigravity Product and Partnership teams? Paid partner plan subscribers should not be penalized or treated the same as free trial users. Is there any way to manually refresh or override my account benefits so I can access the frontier models?

Thank you.
