I am using the IDE and the agent says that it’s running a terminal in the background, but I am not sure how I can view this terminal to follow-up on it’s work? I am not talking about these (Figure 1)
I am talking about these (Figure 2). It mentions that it is running MATLAB in the background but I have no option to view or follow the progress happening.

I too am interested if there is a dedicated way to view the background task terminals that the agents are controlling.
It is pretty critical that I monitor these tasks as the agent is running them. Trying to keep track of the current place in the agent chat where it started a task in a terminal, especially if it keeps initiating “wait timers” to check back on the progress of an on-going task, is an exercise in frustration.
VS-code/Co-pilot makes these terminal sessions accessible and interactive, and we know that they are tracked in Antigravity:
