Antigravity Terminal Missing?

Salutations!

Perhaps this is just me being simple, but has the antigravity terminal disappeared? I applied an update and now it’s gone. What I mean by “antigravity terminal” is the terminal controlled by the antigravity agent. It used to be possible during a conversation in the Agent Manager to, for a given command being run, click on an ‘open in terminal’ button, and be brought to the terminal where the command is running. Alternatively, you could find the terminal in the editor (its name started with ‘Antigravity…’; as opposed to normal terminal names like zsh or bash).

Right now, I have no way of supplying input to the terminal the agent uses; so, for example, I can’t enter sudo passwords. This makes using antigravity much harder than it used to be.

I’m sure there is a simple fix, but I can’t seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah came here looking for the same solution.

I’m running blind with what the agent is doing, can’t see anything from terminal, can’t see what its downloading, what venv its actually using etc.

Used to show all this - but feels like its been hidden for convenience cause all the vibe coders don’t know what terminal is ha

Hello, The Shell Integration and Terminal Experience between the Terminal/Command Outputs are Getting Better But We do Need the Legit UnRestrained Viewing Access of the Agentic Terminal Back, indeed !! How can We Better Report this to the Devs + “the Agent Execution Terminated Due to Error” is still Persisting Execessively !!

Removing live terminal chat output from the agent chat is the worst UX regression Antigravity has shipped.

I understand the rationale: vibe coders don’t need it.
Fine. But instead of a toggle, you hard-removed it for EVERYONE.
No setting, no opt-out. It was a UI-only change – the data is still there. You chose not to show it.

Screenshot shows all the … in a few lines of interaction.
Having to manually ask the agent “is the process still going?” because I cannot see the terminal output myself. This is the workflow you created.

Now I am flying blind. No exit codes, no live output, no way to see what the agent is actually doing.
I am working around it with /tmp file hacks, or pasting the commands into a new terminal on my own.

The fix is trivially simple: Settings, Agent, Show terminal output in chat: ON/OFF.
Vibe coders keep it off. Everyone else turns it on. Done.

This was a hard change where a toggle was obvious.
If this does not come back as a real setting, I am switching to a competitor.

There are several waiting.

I have the same issue.

They seem to have removed the “relocate terminal” functionality even though it’s desperately useful.

We need to make more noise about this .

We need “relocate terminal”!

I was hoping there was a solution. So the only solution is to cancel my ultra I guess because without this feature no serious developer will continue to use this tool, I’ll go see who else I can give my money to…

yes I cancelled my Ultra account as well.

Everything is going backwards, rate limits, UI, Terminal view…

yap, looping for waiting terminal which actually has no terminal running

Antigravity is supposed to be a tool for DEVELOPERS.
DEVELOPERS we need to SEE, not treating us like “I’ll do stuff without showing you and you’ll get the result (which hopefully is right)”, kind-of like Microsoft style.

Antigravity is going that path, hiding the terminal (a MUST HAVE for a developer)
And now the agent is doing a lot of stuff using a lot of tool and everything is presented folded and invisible.
You have to expand multiple items to actually see what Gemini is doing,.

If I would have been able to see what it was doing while it was doing it maybe I could have stopped it in time and avoiding this.

Could it be that all the people who developed Antigravity are fools who only know how to use yolo mode? This functional requirement has not been fixed for such a long time.

How is it possible that to this day there is still no solution to this problem? They removed something as important for developers as the terminal. I dont understand this absurd regression, just like the ability to drag files into project folders (now they drop straight into the chat)—another change that broke something that was working perfectly fine.
