How to Allowlist Video Extensions in VEO 3.1?

Hi,

We’re super excited about VEO 3.1 and we’re testing in a prototype. Yesterday, we discovered that although it’s not mentioned in the documentation, there appears to be a whitelist for the video extension feature on a per-project basis.

I was wondering how we can get our project allowlisted for video extensions with VEO 3.1? Here is the error we are receiving:

I received an answer.
To my surprise as it’s not stated in the docs, this feature is not available through Vertex AI yet and we should wait.

Hello Hosseinmorad. I was having the same problem with Vertex Ai. Use the Gemini API and it will work. Setting up the payload can be a little bit of challenge, but I was able to get the Extend to work with Veo 3.1 via Gemini API.
