Help! If Gemini 2.0 is going to be discontinued in 2026, then how should I proceed?

According to the Gemini API discontinuation list, the 2.0-flash model will be discontinued at the beginning of February 2026. The question is: will another free-tier API replace this model?

I do free tests using this model, and the discontinuation will affect me as well as many other users.

Thanks for the feedback .For now the suggested replacement is to transition to gemini-2.5-flash model.

I was wondering if tuned model based on 2.0-flash will also be discontinued. Could use some help here :smiling_face_with_tear:
