If you are experiencing a persistent login issue where Antigravity gets stuck on the login screen (especially for Google One Ultra / AI subscribers), please follow these steps to force-sync your account session using the Gemini CLI.
Steps to Resolution:
-
Install Gemini CLI: Ensure you have the Google Gemini CLI installed on your system.
-
Open Gemini CLI: Launch the Gemini CLI via your Terminal.
-
Account Login: Sign in to the specific Google account that has your active subscription (the one you intend to use with Antigravity).
-
Send a Prompt: Once logged in, type the following (or similar) to Gemini:
“I want to use Antigravity with this account.”
-
Complete Additional Authentication: Follow any supplementary sign-in or permission prompts that appear within the CLI.
-
Verify Response: Confirm that the Gemini CLI provides a successful text response.
- Note: If you encounter an error at this stage, repeat the steps above.
-
Launch Antigravity: Once the CLI is responding correctly, open the Antigravity desktop app and attempt to log in again.
-
Success: The app should now bypass the stuck screen and log in normally.
This workaround helped me resolve a login issue that lasted for two weeks. Hope this helps anyone else stuck in the same loop!
