The docs say that that paid accounts get 1,500 RPD for free for grounding. Obviously input and output tokens aren’t free, but I am being charged for grounding. I only made 11 requests today.

Bump because Google is mum on this issue.
the workaround is to use another, free API key instead of an API key with billing enabled. then if you get a 429 error, use another API key.
