Google AI Pro user: Claude models stuck on 7-day cooldown (should be ~5 hours) — happens on two Pro accounts

Hello, I’m a paying Google AI Pro subscriber and I’m experiencing a serious quota/reset issue in Antigravity.

Problem

  • Only Anthropic / Claude models show a 7-day cooldown after quota is reached.

  • I expected the normal ~5 hour reset behavior (as shown/communicated for Pro usage).

  • This happens on two separate Google accounts, and both are on AI Pro (I purchased Pro on both; paid ~$40 total).

  • Other models (e.g., Gemini) do not show the same 7-day lockout in my testing.

Why this is critical
I’m a paying user and this effectively makes Claude models unusable for a week, which breaks my workflow and defeats the purpose of Pro.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log in with a Google AI Pro account

  2. Select any Claude model

  3. Use it until the quota limit message appears

  4. The UI shows “You can resume at …” with a timestamp ~7 days later

Expected
Claude quota reset should match Pro expectations (hours, not days), or at least be consistent with what Pro users are told.

Request
Please investigate and fix the quota reset behavior for Claude models on Pro. If this is an intended policy change, please clarify officially and provide billing credit/refund options for affected Pro users.

Final note: I’m extremely frustrated because I paid for AI Pro specifically for this capability, yet the service I’m receiving does not match what was represented. If you cannot provide the promised Pro reset behavior for Claude models, please refund my payments. Otherwise, I will file a formal complaint with the consumer protection agency / Department of Consumer Affairs in the state where I purchased the service, and I will include evidence from other paying users reporting the same issue as part of my complaint package.
