Hello Google AI Support / Developer Team,

I am facing a persistent issue with the GitHub integration inside Google AI Studio for the past 2 days and need technical assistance to resolve it.

Problem Description:

When attempting to sync, push, or view repository changes inside Google AI Studio, the action fails with the following error message:

“Failed to load file differences. The GitHub repository could not be found, or you lack permissions. Please ensure the AI Studio GitHub App is installed.”

Steps Already Attempted:

  1. GitHub App Installation: Verified that the Google AI Studio GitHub App is installed on my GitHub account.
  2. Repository Access: Configured the GitHub App permissions to grant access to the specific repository (and tried granting access to all repositories).
  3. Re-authentication: Tried re-configuring and reconnecting through the “Configure App” prompt over the last 48 hours, but the error persists.

Request:

Could the engineering team please look into this issue or check if there is an authorization token sync delay / cached permission state on the backend for my AI Studio project?
