I noticed that my RPD in Gemini was reset to a limit of 20 requests per day. Why did this happen? Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes they reduced the free limit today by more than 10 times without noticing anyone.

Hey folks, yeah the limits on the free tier were lowered. There is a huge amount of growing demand for 3.0 Pro and Nano Banana Pro so we had to shuffle compute there.
The main goal of the free tier is to try and give people a sense of what the model can for early testing. It was not designed to be a long term solution to build things on top of.
Hey logan, would you please let us all know if there are any plans of a budget model with decent reasoning quality. The prices soared from 1.5 and 2.0 series to 2.5 . 3 Pro is really smart but for the price it’s not applicable for any real world use. Atleast let us know if Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra plans can leverage API usage like anti gravity does.
Hi. I (accidentaly) hit the rate limit after the change, 3 days ago, and it seems like the limit hasnt reset since. I can’t use any other models as it states that I am over quotas. I dont mind switching to another model (I am still testing them out), but now I can’t do anything. Is this the normal behaviour? Arent RPD supposed to reset every day?
