Gemini API project restricted — 403 "Your project has been denied access"

Hello Google AI Developers team,

I recently created a new Google Cloud project for using the Gemini API through Google AI Studio.

Project ID: nexaflow-509212

However, the project currently shows:

  • Billing Tier: Unavailable
  • Status: Restricted

When I try to use the Gemini API, I receive:

403: Your project has been denied access

I have already completed the following on my Google account:

  • Phone number verification
  • 2-Step Verification
  • Age verification, where applicable

This project is being used for a university student project and I would like to use the Gemini API under the available Free Tier.

Could you please review the project restriction and let me know whether access to the Free Tier can be restored?
