Gemini 3.1 Pro Lockout and Extremely Fast Token Consumption Are Blocking Productivity

I want to start by saying that Antigravity is an impressive platform. The concept, the agent architecture, and the overall development environment are genuinely powerful. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into building a tool that can significantly improve how developers work with AI.

However, in practice, I’ve encountered a major issue that makes it very difficult to rely on the platform for real work.

The tokens are consumed extremely quickly and, once they run out, I am forced to wait almost seven days for the Gemini 3.1 Pro window to reopen. For someone actively developing and testing projects, this waiting time completely breaks the workflow. Development simply cannot stop for nearly a week every time the credit window closes.

What makes the situation even more concerning is that this happens even as a Pro user. At the moment, I am facing a lockout of around 6 days before Gemini 3.1 Pro becomes available again, which is an extremely long time for a tool designed for development productivity. For an environment that is supposed to accelerate development, waiting almost a week to regain access to a core model is simply not practical.

Because of this, I am seriously considering migrating my work to Cloud Code, mainly due to the rapid token consumption and the long waiting time to regain access to the models.

I genuinely like Antigravity and believe it has huge potential. But in its current state, the credit model and access limitations make it very difficult to maintain productivity. For developers who depend on continuous iteration and testing, these restrictions unfortunately turn a great tool into something that is hard to use in a real, day-to-day workflow.

I hope this feedback helps, because the platform itself is excellent — it just needs a system that better supports real development productivity.
