Download the latest installer and install it without uninstalling previous one.

Check the Model Selector: Go to gemini.google.com or open the mobile app. At the bottom, next to the chat window, you will be able to select Gemini 3.1 Pro from the list. You don’ need to update anything. Just to select from fast to pro.

Yes, Gemini 3.0 Pro is no longer available. We recommend upgrading to the latest version to utilize Gemini 3.1 Pro. Alternatively, if upgrading is not desired, you may switch to the Gemini 3 Flash model (provided your task does not require complex reasoning). Otherwise, reinstallation of the latest version is advised.

Pero con solo reinstalar de nuevo sin desinstalar nada, recuperé el acceso al Gemini Pro en el modelo 3.1

Whatever disruption plagued YouTube yesterday also impacted Antigravity, as I did not encounter this issue the day before. It even altered the model, resulting in damage to a portion of the project. However, by simply reinstalling without uninstalling anything, I regained access to Gemini Pro in model 3.1.

I got same problem in my laptop. While i downloaded in desktop and there gemini 3.1 pro working. But when I step back again to laptop and downloaded latest version again and it shw same error, Perhaps gemini disliked laptop and it did’t changed mind. This is AI.

I just installed Antigravity without uninstalling it and it started working

You need to go to this page https://antigravity.google/download and download Antigravity again, then install it and it will work. Yes, it’s stupid, but that’s how it is.

Yeah I ran into the same “Gemini 3.1 Pro is not available on this version. Please upgrade to the latest version” message, but I fixed it by using Gemini 3 Flash to un-grate my Antigravity install. I just launched Antigravity with the Flash model active, it kicked the system into the latest codebase, and after that Gemini 3.1 Pro showed up and is working fine for me now :+1: as cool as it sounds.

Basically what happened was Google deprecated the older 3.0/3 Pro path and replaced it with Gemini 3.1 Pro, but your local Antigravity copy needs to be at the newest build before it can see/select that model. Folks on the forum have been saying that reinstalling or updating without uninstalling also fixes it, but using Flash to jumpstart the app worked for me too.

Now I am able to select Gemini 3.1 Pro from the model picker and it runs exactly like expected and good news is no more upgrade error :raising_hands: !!

To fix this issue, downlaod and install Google Antigravity again on your pc and it will work
