I’m frequently running into overload issues with the Gemini 2.5 Flash and Gemini 2.5 Pro models while working with API, and today it seems more persistent than usual.
[503 Service Unavailable] The model is overloaded. Please try again later.
This is a serious problem in the production server, affecting end user’s experience.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

I don’t see any outage today.. It could be a temporary issue. Please implement retry with exponential backoff if you are using in production and make sure your application is under rate limits.

Come on! The problem as been there for 2 weeks!!! Look at all the topics, its not temporary!!! The 2.5 flash and 2.5 pro are literaly unusable through the API. I tried to post here, contact Google devs on X, using feedback AI studio, and nobody is responding:

Sure, I’m on the paid tier. This has been a recurring issue, and seeing similar complaints from others, I’d really urge you to look into fixing it.
This problem is all around here. Also receiving it.
The most important thing is that you paid them. And they don’t care about anything else.
But the problem here is that there have been continuous malfunctions for weeks now, everything has been overloaded, and I don’t know how to avoid all this, but if it’s a server problem, add more servers. I don’t think it’s a big problem for Google, and maybe it will solve the problem. It is unacceptable that those who pay, and this is not my case even though I pay for a third-party service where I use my free API, but I trusted your reliability, cannot use the product they have purchased. It is unacceptable and serious, especially the fact that people complain and those who should deal with it leave them without answers, alone with their problems. This is what hurts
This is absolute nonsense. I am trying to get to UAT this week and I can’t send this to users with the 503 errors. It breaks so often! This has been going on for months at this stage. Srsly thinking I need to move to another vendor before I launch. How is this acceptable for an enterprise product?
I’m seeing a lot of problems today with api access to the models. It’s not running in production but I’m having to consider migrating as I get closer to prod.
Note, this is happening for 2.5 Flash AND 2.5 Pro.
