Gemini 1.5 Flash Fine Tuning: Delayed a Few Weeks or a Few Months?

Hi there,

We were supposed to get 1.5 Flash fine tuning on June 17th. It’s been over a month and we are now approaching 2 months. Does Google have any plans to release this feature or should our organization look at other options for fine tuning a long context window model?

Yes, it seems it has been delayed. If it’s really important I would look into fine-tuning other models, but if you can wait then I would recommend waiting, especially if Flash works perfect for your use case.

What about the annoying 5,000 Output limit? How I’m supposed to bypass this when my aim is to have a Fine Tuned Model that can make VERY long output generation from the informations of Input and Output i given?
