We’re really looking forward to fine-tuning the Flash 2.0 model in Al Studio. Could someone from the Google team give us an idea of when that might be possible? Many developers are waiting for this feature.

We are also waiting for the model to be available in AI Studio. It would be great if we could get an approximate release date.

I cannot find the text where it says 2.0 Flash Finetuning. It only says 1.5 Flash.
What are the costs involved for finetuning and now there is no UI? we need to finetune it using API/SDK?
What about finetuning 2.5 Flash?

As of June 11, 2025, fine-tuning for Flash 2.0 is not supported in AI Studio. To fine-tune Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite & Gemini 2.0 Flash, we recommend using Vertex AI or Gen AI SDK.

Gemini 2.5 Flash model is available for experimentation through Google AI Studio as well as Vertex AI and does not support fine-tuning.
