Flow showing "temporarily unavailable" error since Veo 3.1 update - Anyone else affected?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been experiencing issues with Flow since the Veo 3.1 update was released 2 days ago (October 15, 2025).

Problem description:

  • Flow displays the error message: “Flow est temporairement indisponible. Veuillez réessayer plus tard” (Flow is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later)

  • When I try to generate videos, they either:

    • Get stuck at 99% and never complete

    • Show the “temporarily unavailable” error right away

What I’ve already tried:

  • Cleared browser cache and cookies

  • Tested in incognito/private mode

  • Tried different times of day

  • Using Chrome (latest version)

  • Verified my subscription is active

My setup:

  • Subscription: Google AI Pro

  • Location: France

  • Browser: Chrome (latest version)

  • Started occurring: October 15, 2025 (right after Veo 3.1 launch)

Question: Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Could this be related to high server load after the Veo 3.1 release, or is it a regional problem?

Any insights or updates from the Google team would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help.

Same here for the last three days. I have work to do and this platform is proving very unreliable for professional work. Anyone from Google here willing to give any answers or solutions because I’m about to cancel my subscription.

Out of the 20 prompts I attempted, only 2 were successful. In both of those cases, the prompts were relatively short. Whenever I tried using longer JSON prompts, the process failed every single time.

To elaborate, I guess the system currently struggles with handling more complex or extensive inputs, especially those involving lengthy JSON structures. The only prompts that worked were brief and straightforward. This has made it quite difficult to use the tool effectively for more advanced tasks, as the majority of my attempts did not succeed. If anyone has found a workaround for submitting longer prompts or has advice on how to improve the success rate, I would appreciate your input
