Problem Description
- Currently, Stitch AI only supports a single‑screen editing mode without a means to easily switch screens or view the latest version of each screen
- When users scroll up in the chat history to find previous designs, the most recent version often gets buried among earlier prompts and iterations, making navigation difficult
- This leads to confusion, especially in multi‑screen projects where users iterate frequently—but cannot reliably reference or switch between screens.
Suggested Enhancements
- Dedicated “Screen List” or Dashboard UI:
- Sidebar or modal with a list of all screens created in the project, showing a thumbnail preview and screen title.
- Clickable entries to instantly navigate to the desired screen.
- Snapshot Versioning per Screen:
- Preserve each iteration of a screen separately so new prompt changes don’t override or hide previous versions.
- Allow users to browse or revert to any version.
- Screen Management Features:
- Ability to star/pin favourite screens, reorder them, or group into categories.
- Provide a way to label or tag versions (e.g. “Login v2,” “Settings – refined”).
Benefits to Users
- Streamlined multi‑screen workflows: Users can easily switch between login, dashboard, profile and other screens.
- Reduced reliance on scrolling: No need to search through long chat logs to find designs.
- Better iterative control: Users can iterate confidently, knowing their previous versions remain accessible.
- Improved export flow to Figma or HTML/CSS: Clear context and structure help streamline handoffs
