Feature Request: Option to set "URL context" Tool enabled by default

Description:
I would like to request a feature that allows users to set specific Tools in the right sidebar, specifically “URL context”, to be enabled by default for all new prompts/chats.

Current Behavior:
Currently, when starting a new prompt in Google AI Studio, the “URL context” toggle under the Tools section in the right sidebar is disabled by default. If I want the model to read a URL provided in the prompt, I have to manually go to the sidebar and toggle “URL context” on every single time.

Use Case & Problem:
A significant portion of my workflow involves pasting URLs into the prompt for the model to analyze, summarize, or extract data from. Because “URL context” defaults to off, I frequently forget to enable it, resulting in the model hallucinating or failing to access the link. This adds unnecessary friction and repetitive clicks to the workflow.

Proposed Solution:
It would be a massive quality-of-life improvement to have a setting (perhaps in the global “Settings” menu on the bottom left) that allows users to define their default Tool states.

Alternatively, Google AI Studio could simply remember the last used state of the toggles for new sessions. Just as “Grounding with Google Search” is currently enabled by default in my workspace, I would love the ability to make “URL context” behave the same way.

Thank you for considering this improvement!
