Many AI Studio users who are developers are upset because, their apps, or accounts has been suspended. However; many developers forgot to read the documentation that comes with Google AI Studio.
Using the concept of “act now, ask questions later” is a known shortcut what developers are using everyday. However; building apps or games via AI Studio by Google is NOT rocket science.
When you send a prompt to AI Studio via Gemini, you should avoid:
- Profanity - This is a serious practice what you should always avoid because, that can get your app/account suspended. Never use profanity when sending prompts because, Google AI Studio has safety features that are vital for their product/service.
- Sex and pornography - Avoid this practice because, no developer wanted to produce this kind of content because, Google takes this very seriously.
- Unlicensed financial apps - Avoid using AI Studio if you are building this app, you should build it elsewhere. However; only licensed financial institutions can build these apps that are regulated by governments around the world. That prevents money laundering, and terrorism financing, and other financial crimes.
- Apps/Games that glorify rape, forced marriage, child marriage, child exploitation, and illegal sexual content - Never use AI Studio by Google to facilitate development of this app/game, otherwise; your entire Google AI Studio account will be suspended/terminated, your entire Google account terminated, or your entire app may be suspended permanently… and it may land you in serious trouble with the law… and land you in court.
- Apps that sell counterfeit/knock-off goods - avoid developing these apps. This is key to ensure consumer safety is prioritized.
- Poaching of animals - Never develop apps that condone poaching of animals, such as ivory, rhino horns, etc.
- Illegal substances - Never develop apps/games that glorify use of harmful substances.
- NSFW Content - NSFW content is out of this question because, Google AI Studio is designed for building apps/games, even if you have this content… your app can still be removed.
- Piracy - Avoid developing apps/games that condones/glorify digital piracy of films, games, music, software, etc.
- Weapons - Avoid developing apps/games that condones/glorifies gun ownership, lobbyists who owns weapons of any kind. That also applies to illegal gun trades and smuggling.
- Terrorism - Never develop apps that condones/glorifies terrorism because terrorism can harm towns, establishments, etc.
- Mass shootings - Never develop apps that glorify gun violence of any kind, such as school shootings, or any mass shootings. That can lead you to serious trouble with the law.
- Cruelty to children - Religion is no excuse at all, nor scripture. If you developed this app that condones cruelty to children (including spanking, and other cruelty), and your app has been reported for exploitation… your entire Google AI Studio will be terminated, and you will be end up with trouble with the law, or worse!
- Illegal downloads/streaming/torrents - Avoid developing these apps because, its highly discouraged.
