So I was using the Ai Studio and got a message You’ve reached your rate limit. Please try again later. Then I bought a Tier 1 access, and linked this tier 1 access key to this chat window but still am getting the exact same error, and I can’t output any messages with this chat, but I can use other chat windows. Also the limits show that I have not made any requests yet really only a couple but I should have like 250. This is another message → Failed to generate content, quota exceeded: you have exceeded the input token limit per minute for this model. Please try again in a few minutes.

The AI Studio chat interface maintains a ‘state‘. So, even if you have Tier 1 now, that specific chat session might be locked to the ‘Free‘ project context it was created in. Hence, it works for you properly in a different chat.
Please check your TPM and ensure it’s within the limit Gemini API Error Codes
