Everyday Gemini API slowly degrades around 11.30 am IST, then stop responds completely till late 9pm-10pm IST.

This is the trend for the past few days.

its gemini 2.5 pro and its been happening to everyone this is unacceptable our entire apps are offline because of this bug

not only do you get billed for the failed requests and its been happening for like 1-2 weeks with no fixes or anything

2.5 Pro. And I use the latest genai library from google.

I can confirm that it almost always works perfectly in the morning, but it degrades after 12:30. I’m currently on the free plan, and I noticed they’ve lowered the RPM to 2 and the RPD to 50. I’d happily sign up for the billable plan if only it worked.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem jeden Tag. Oftmals werde ich mitten im Denkprozess unterbrochen. Die beste Zeit ist ungefähr UTC-8. Wenn ich es nicht zu dieser Zeit benutze, kommt es immer wieder zu Unterbrechungen, langsamen Abstufungen und schließlich zu einem vollständigen Ausfall, obwohl mein API-Kontingent noch nicht aufgebraucht ist.

I closed my billable account because of stories of random image creating billing, and not able to preform basic working tasks at this moment. I won’t pay another cent until this mess is fixed. I used CLI from the beginning and it went from Not usable to good to really good to ok to not able to do anything to good to useless in 3 months. It cant even do basic tasks anymore the completely messed up the whole service AGAIN.
