Error loading apps' message

Hello, I’m experiencing an ‘Error loading apps’ message in Google AI Studio. I have already tried clearing my browser’s cache and cookies, signing in and out, using a different computer and phone, running chrome and tried Safri, connecting to another network, and checked the Google AI Studio status page, which indicated no outages. Please help.

This seems to be a temporary issue, please try after sometime , please let us know if still the issue persists.

That message usually means AI Studio can’t load your project metadata from the backend due to an authentication or permission mismatch rather than a browser issue. Make sure the Google account you’re using has access to the same project where your apps were created. In the Cloud Console, open IAM & Admin and confirm the account has at least the Vertex AI User role on that project. If you recently switched organizations or billing accounts, AI Studio may be trying to reference a project you no longer have access to—select a valid project from the top bar in AI Studio and refresh.

If the error persists even when opening the default “My Workspace” view, it can indicate a backend sync issue tied to your account. In that case, sign out of all Google accounts, sign in only with the one tied to your AI Studio workspace, and retry. If no projects appear at all after that, contact Google Cloud Support with your project ID so they can verify whether the AI Studio metadata service is returning empty responses for your account.
