Does a Jio-provided Google AI Pro plan count as "non-trial" for Claude 5.5 access in Antigravity?

Hi Antigravity team,

I have an active 18-month Google AI Pro subscription redeemed through Jio. Antigravity recognizes my plan as Google AI Pro under Settings → Models & Usage, and my Claude/GPT quota shows 100%.

However:

  1. Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 don’t appear in my model picker. Only Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS 120B are listed, both marked “Notice”.

  2. The notice says: “Opus 5.5 is now available on paid Pro and Ultra plans. Third-party model access will no longer be available on your current plan starting on November 2, 2026.”

Your Models documentation says Claude 5.5 is “available on Google AI Pro for non-trial subscriptions only.”

Could you please clarify:

  • Is a Jio-provided Google AI Pro plan treated as a promotional/trial plan for this purpose?
  • If so, will I lose access to all Claude and GPT models on November 2, 2026?
  • Is there any way for Jio-provided Pro subscribers to get Claude 5.5 access?

I’ve attached screenshots of the notice and my plan page. Thanks!

I have Google AI Pro via Jio’s 18-month offer. Google One shows Google AI Pro (5 TB) and says to manage the plan through Jio. Antigravity shows Claude Sonnet/Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS 120B, but not Claude Sonnet/Opus 5.5. The in-app notice says third-party access ends on my current plan on November 2, 2026, and that the new Claude models are on paid Pro and Ultra. Docs say Claude 5.5 is available on Google AI Pro for non-trial subscriptions only. Please confirm whether Jio-partner Pro counts as non-trial for Claude 5.5, what happens to Claude/GPT access on November 2 on this plan, and the supported path to Claude 5.5 if this plan is ineligible.

Yes, on November 02, both Claude and GPT will disappear.

You will still retain access to Gemini, but other models won’t be available anymore

Are u from google team? or a random suggestion

Hi @rageX @Musaib_Malik,

Thank you for reaching out. Here are the answers to your specific questions:

Is a Jio-provided Google AI Pro plan treated as a promotional/trial plan for Claude 5.5 access?

Yes. Extended partner-bundled offers are classified as promotional/partner trial entitlements. Per model licensing requirements, frontier third-party models like Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 are available exclusively on direct, non-promotional paid Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions.

Will you lose access to all Claude and GPT models on November 2, 2026?

Yes, third-party model access (Claude) on promotional/trial plan tiers is scheduled to end on November 2, 2026. However, your access to Google’s first-party models (including Gemini 3.8 Pro, Gemini 3.7 Flash, and future Gemini releases) will remain fully active and unaffected for the entire 18-month duration of your Jio plan.

How can subscribers on Jio-provided plans get access to Claude 5.5?

To access Claude 5.5 and maintain continuous third-party model access in Antigravity, you can transition to a direct, paid Google AI Premium or Ultra subscription through Google One at https://one.google.com/settings

Does it make any sense anybody in the whole world to leave a huge 18-month duration absolutely free Jio-provided Google AI Pro plan offer including 5TB drive storage Gemini AI higher access etc and switch to a paid one? Just to get access Claude 5.5 and maintain continuous third-party model access in Antigravity. And by the way it is also not possible for a person to switch to your paid plan one a user active his Jio-provided Google AI Pro plan without contacting JIO.

I’m not from Google. I’m confirming what @chunduriv also confirmed based on their experience

No, it’s not “absolutely free”, you must keep your sim charged in order to avail this. That said, that’s definitely cheaper.

Please go to “See all plans”, and from there, switch to a relevant plan.

Whether it makes sense or not depends upon the person and their needs

But, bro, it is free in the sense that whether I get this with Jio SIM or not, I am going to recharge my SIM anyway because I need to call other people and use the internet. SIM recharge cost is for those services. Google AI Pro is on top of that. You forgot that a SIM card has entirely different uses.
This also brings up the duration: 18 months, with zero payment specifically for the Google AI Pro plan for the entire time, and all other benefits remaining intact, except for those third-party models in antigravity. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense to shift on paid plan because it is not a trail of one or two months it’s 18 months.

You are right, and Gemini is also pretty capable, but some people just like Claude.

On another note, Gemini 4 is about to be out, and we’ll likely get enough usage to handle hobby projects without issues
