Can someone explain what is the difference between this website and the Google Developer Community on Discord?
Discord is more like social media, where the emphasis is about being social, getting to know new people, and informal chatter.
Discourse (this site) is more in-depth, and is well-suited for debugging and more complex problems that may be a bit long-winded for an app like discord.
Both keep you in the loop with other devs, and both are places where you can find support and share cool stuff. The rest is purely a matter of personal preference.
