Deployment Error: 'Incorrect Port' on legacy projects after recent AI Studio update

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a technical hurdle with my existing projects in Google AI Studio. Currently, I have about 20 active projects.

Since the most recent platform update, I am unable to republish or update any of my older projects. Whenever I try, I receive an error stating that the ‘port is incorrect.’ Interestingly, this doesn’t happen with brand-new applications; I can create and deploy new ones without any issues. It seems to be a compatibility problem specifically affecting projects created before the latest update.

Has anyone found a workaround for this? * Is there a way to manually reset the port configuration for old projects?

  • Do I need to migrate the API keys or settings to a new project container?

  • Is this a known bug related to the legacy project migration?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to fix this without having to manually recreate all 20 projects from scratch. Thanks in advance!

I’m second to this, can’t re-publish it says “Container failed to start and listen on PORT 8080.”

Please help

Just go in the console (retry a second time, and on the bottom left there’s a button to investigate the error), see the error, feed it to gemini and ask him to fix it. that’ll do it

I’ve been trying to solve this with the tips I got—tried Gemini and every other AI out there—but no luck so far.

I now have the same issue lol
