Hello,
I’m encountering a 403 PERMISSION_DENIED error when testing the Gemini API, even though my API key is valid and shows 38 available models.
Details:
- API key status: Valid (38 models available)
- Error when calling generateContent: “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
- Account type: Personal Google account
- Project: Newly created manually from Google Cloud Console
- Generative Language API: Enabled
The key is recognized, but content generation is being blocked at the project level. I have not violated any terms of service and this is a brand new project.
Could you please assist in unblocking access to my project?
