I don’t know about the system prompt problem, but I can confirm the scrolling and editing input/output problems. AI Studio is pretty much unusable today…

Throw any random text of 20k, 50k, 100k, 200k into the system instructions and check if the interface is working. Unfortunately, something got broken.

Is anyone testing this interface? Editing is so frustrating it’s maddening. When you scroll the window, messages just jump around, and you can’t even edit message N6 because it immediately jumps to N1, and so on.

System instructions are working poorly. When a large amount of text is added, the entire AI studio just freezes. I’m not talking about I don’t know 100 lines, but for example 5000-10000. After system instructions were moved from the top to the right menu, they don’t work well. Tested on 6 browsers.

Please just put 200,000 tokens into the system instructions and check if the model can be used without problems. The interface already freezes on me when I try to paste (ctrl+v). And before the interface changes, everything worked quickly.

Hi @Dawid_M , I am not able to replicate even with 200k+ tokens in system instructions. It is working as expected. Please try again with newer Gemini 3.0 models and let us know if you are still facing this issue.
