[BUG] Google AI Pro: Both Claude (Sonnet/Opus) and Gemini (non-Flash) Models Decayed quota and Locked for ~168 Hours (7 Days) with ZERO Usage – Flash Unaffected

Hello Google AI / Antigravity team and fellow developers,

I’m a Google AI Pro subscriber hitting the same frustrating quota bug that’s exploding across the forum, Reddit, and X right now (March 12, 2026). This affects both Claude and Gemini models in Antigravity, turning Pro into a weekly “taste test” instead of the advertised generous 5-hour rolling refreshes. Exact symptoms on my account:

  • Plan: Active Google AI Pro subscription.

  • Claude models (Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6 Thinking modes): Quota decayed unexpectedly—even though I hadn’t used Claude at all in recent sessions (zero prompts). Started showing partial remaining (e.g., 60%), then jumped to 168-hour (7-day) reset timer. Signing out did nothing.

  • Gemini models: Now escalated—the same 167–168 hour lockout hit non-Flash variants (e.g., Gemini 3.1 Pro High/Low or equivalent). Crucially, I hardly use Gemini Pro/non-Flash models today or recently—no prompts sent on them whatsoever. Quota still shows partial/high remaining in some cases, but effective access is blocked for a full week.

  • Only unaffected: Gemini Flash continues to show the correct ~5-hour refresh cycle and is the only usable model right now.

  • No abuse/heavy usage: Total activity has been very light and I not used antigravity from last ~60 hours. This decay happens silently (idle background, or after minimal interaction). No long chains, no high-volume prompting.

Hello,

To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity.

Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.

Trust me, you’d better run away from this as fast as you can. Even on the Ultra plan, the same problems persist. It’s best to cancel your subscription immediately and get a refund. There’s no support, just some person writing the same text over and over again, asking for money for a more expensive, but equally useless, subscription.
