Unexpected Weekly Quota Reset & 150-Hour Lock on Claude and Gemini (Antigravity)

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing what appears to be a synchronization glitch with model quotas on my account and wanted to report it here in case others are facing the same issue.

Account Details

  • Plan: Pro (paid)

  • Models affected: Claude and Gemini (Antigravity models)

  • Expected behavior: My quota was scheduled to refresh today.

What Actually Happened

When the reset time arrived, the quota did not refresh normally. Instead, the system immediately showed a 150-hour quota lock, even though:

  • I did not send any prompts after the reset.

  • Usage since the previous cycle was zero.

  • The quota appears to have been consumed instantly at reset, which should not be possible.

Pattern I Noticed

  • The issue first appeared on Claude.

  • Shortly afterward, Gemini showed the same behavior.

  • This suggests there may be a cross-model synchronization issue affecting quota tracking.

Why This Seems Incorrect

As a Pro user, the system should refresh my quota normally. However, the interface now behaves as if the account is being treated under a Free-tier weekly baseline, immediately applying the 150-hour wait period despite no usage.

Additional Information

  • My quota refresh time was today.

  • The lock appeared instantly at reset, not after any activity.

  • I have attached a screenshot showing the quota state immediately after the reset.

Request

Could someone from the team please check whether this is:

  • a quota synchronization bug, or

  • an incorrect tier enforcement after reset?

If anyone else has experienced something similar, it would be helpful to know as well.

Thanks for looking into this.

It happened probably to everyone today. Yet, Google is not responding at all to any of those complains nor refund requests.

Look, I watched it live today.
I had the rest block at 10 pm, and I casually said “I’ll go in and look”; there was one minute left until the reset.
When the minute ticked, I saw 6 days and the bar was zero.
I refreshed… you can’t imagine the anger, tempered by resignation.

And then we should do everything with AI, but if I can’t even do what I work with, it’s better with AI…

Hello,

To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity.

Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.

I subscribed to the AI Pro plan to access the full suite of models, not just Gemini Flash. If only Flash is available, the subscription loses its value.

The current quota reset system is fundamentally broken. I’ve noticed that even without sending any new requests, the reset time continues to delay (from hours to 7 days). This is a clear system error. You must ensure basic model availability and provide reliable reset notifications instead of indefinitely pushing back access. Your “AI credits” policy does not justify this level of service instability.
