Hey folks, this has been rolled back and access to 2.5 pro is restored.
Apologies for this, we working on making sure this does not happen in the future.

I’m getting an API error stating that Gemini-2.5-Pro is “no longer available to new users.” I lost access to my previous account, so my current paid account is now locked out. Restricting access to paying users well before the official deprecation date is not correct. Access should remain open to everyone until the actual sunset date instead of filtering users early.
